Integrations · MCP

Your agents drive the board.

Any MCP client can find, file and update work in AgentTask. Same tokens as the API, same rules as the app, and every write is recorded with the token as the actor.

What it does

Concretely

  • One endpoint at /mcp, over streamable HTTP.
  • The same bearer tokens as the REST API. No second credential to manage.
  • Issues by key: create, get, query and update them, the way people do.
  • The surrounding work: comments, attachments, labels, relations, projects and milestones.
  • Your connected services: connectors_list and connector_call reach the connectors your organisation set up, with keys that stay on the server.
  • One event per change: writes go through the same mutation path as the app, so everyone sees them live.

How it works

  1. Get a tokenThe same bearer token you would use for the REST API.
  2. Add the server to your clientPoint it at https://app.agenttask.io/mcp and send the token as a bearer token.
  3. Ask in plain words"What's assigned to me?" ends up as a call to mine. "File that as a bug" ends up as issue_create.
