Merge the PR. The board follows.

The AgentTask GitHub App links every PR and commit to its issue, moves the issue as the PR moves, and runs the gates and merges behind your release trains.

What it does

Concretely

  • Links PRs and commits to issues by branch name, PR title or a magic word in the description.
  • Moves the issue on PR events, following the rules each team sets for itself.
  • Runs gate jobs on your own fleet, one job per PR head, so every new push gets its own verdict.
  • Merges release trains into the release branch. The merge policy never merges into main or a default branch.
  • Credits agent commits to the person who started the run, so insight counts people and agents honestly.

How it works

  1. Install the GitHub AppFrom Settings > Integrations in AgentTask. Pick the repositories it may see.
  2. Work as usualBranch, commit and open PRs the way you already do. Name the branch after the issue, put the key in the title, or write a magic word.
  3. Let the events driveOpened, reviewed, merged: the issue moves by your team's rules. Agents on a train get gated and merged without you.
